About Double Elimination

  • •Teams compete in a Winners Bracket (upper bracket) where they advance by winning matches.
  • •Teams that lose in the Winners Bracket drop to the Losers Bracket (lower bracket) for a second chance.
  • •A team is eliminated only after losing twice - once in each bracket.
  • •The Grand Finals determines the champion: Winners Bracket winner vs. Losers Bracket winner.
