Breaking the Stigma

Mental health challenges affect 1 in 5 adults, yet stigma prevents many from seeking help. Through sports and community, we're creating conversations that save lives.

RamsRise is more than our events—it's a platform to normalize mental health discussions, celebrate vulnerability as strength, and ensure everyone knows they're not alone.

Together, we rise above the silence.

It Starts Early: Supporting Our Youth

Half of all mental health conditions begin by age 14, and 75% develop by age 24. Yet many children and teens suffer in silence, unsure how to express what they're feeling or afraid of judgment from peers.

Children ages 6-17 experience a mental health disorder each year

That's millions of young people navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other challenges—often without adequate support.

50%
Don't receive treatment for their mental health conditions

Early intervention is critical, yet barriers like stigma, lack of resources, and limited awareness prevent many from getting help.

Why Youth Mental Health Matters

Academic Impact

Mental health challenges can affect concentration, attendance, and academic performance

Social Development

Untreated conditions can hinder the development of healthy relationships and social skills

Long-term Health

Early mental health issues can persist into adulthood if not addressed properly

Crisis Prevention

Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for ages 10-14 and the 3rd for ages 15-24

By supporting RamsRise, you're helping create programs and resources specifically designed for young people— teaching them it's okay to not be okay, showing them where to find help, and building a community that prioritizes mental wellness for all ages.

Every child deserves support. Every teen deserves hope.

Kyle's Cares Foundation

"Life is about navigating through quicksand—those moments when we feel stuck. Through community, sports, and conversation, we can polish the diamond within each person and help it shine. RamsRise is about coming together to support mental health and show our young people they're never alone."

— Ashley Gustafson
